Stress can make you depressed

Not everyone reacts the same

We can’t completely escape stress. Every day brings its difficulties and its pressures. Stress is cumulative. Different sources of stress accumulate and eventually become a burden. How we react then depends from person to person. Some will become aggressive, others will become depressed sooner…. In my book Stop Stress I highlight the different reaction possibilities.

With the days getting shorter, a lot of people will tend to be more depressed when they are taken in by stress. Of course, this is not the same as true depression. Often with depression due to stress are details that play a big role. Exercise, a grip on daily time management, invigorating sleep, and good interaction with friends can make all the difference. This is not immediately the case with true depression.
